introduction:
This video clip came in most unexpected ways.....
First, the music was recorded live in Harvest Church, Clifton NY in 2007 during a weekday worship service. Pastor Carol was praying then suddenly turned to me and said, "Kung-Li, keep playing" as I was playing in the worship band.
It is a spontaneous piece inspired by that precious moment with God's presence and anointing. I did not even know it was being recorded while I played. In fact, there I use only two chords through out about 45 min piano worship time.
So this is definitely not done for the purpose of "performing" but out of a simple heart of worship.
Second, all the eagles were a bunch of high flying friends at the back yard where we lives at Albany NY. There are at least 2 dozen of them, always soaring around the Mohawk river in a day with high winds. I took a camcorder one day and shot this footage.

God's promise: a team
This took place about 10 years ago. After I led a worship session in church, I felt extremely tired both physically and spiritually. Leading worship can be very comsuming; it som
etime drains you
completely. At that tiim, I constantly led worship 5-6 times over a weekend. I wasn also a graduate student, extremely tied up for my PhD work. At times, it was really heavy for me to do both. Only the Lord knows how I could go through that period of time by His grace.
I wasn walking on Princeton campus back home. I was tired, very tired. I could almost hear myself crying out from my heart, "Lord, it is tough!!" That was when I heard a little whisper in my ear:
"I will give you a team"
I recognized that is from the Lord.
"I will build a team for this generation."
I heard it the second time.
God's "team" is not "our" team
Now it has been 10 years since I heard that soft voice on Princeton campus.
I started to see it is becoming a reality.
Not with a group of professional musicians, nor gifted singers.
This dream is being fulfilled among a group of young people, mostly teens and pre-teens.
And, of course, pre-schoolers are also a big part of my team.
In Agape House, I have been teaming up with them to worhip: on stage and off-stage, in a house or church
Worshipper Arise
I now see what God is doing: raise up a new generation of worshipper in our household: they will stand up and take their place.
The question is whether we have the vision, hearts and patience to provide themwith a solid foundation, empower them to be free to serve their generation, allow them to make mistakes and be there for them when they need us?
Now I see where I fit it in the grand plan.

終年享受著春風秋雨的滋潤,也熬過了無數的酷暑寒冬;在日夜星辰的輪替中,舉凡清霜雨露、烈陽颶風,或是激流沖浪、狂沙暴雪,我們都這麼生活過.生命的樣貌,在打造自己更加完整有型,粹礪自己更為光澤出色.如此保持沈靜,長年等候,是出於一個信念-信自己有一特殊的命定.

當芒草在岸邊翻白,溪水如常靜靜地向前流潺,風清清的,雲是淡的,天正藍著,金色的陽光洋洋灑灑落在河床上.不遠處,一個人影慢慢出現.他搜尋地面,聚精會神地,正向我們走近.他劍眉星目,英挺爽颯.背著帆布囊,手持著一根木杖,步伐堅定,越踏過許許多多大大小小的石頭而來,他站定在我們面前,彎下腰來,將我們拾起,端詳、審視、微笑,然後把我們仔細地放入布囊.囊中還有伴他成長的兒時玩伴-一只機弦.
那是我們的出身,許多年後居然還被記載在聖經的撒母耳記上17:40裏.
在他踢踏輕快的步屨中，我們同感於那份激動與自信。不再是原野放牧羊群,少不更事的年輕人，他將獨自面對大軍敵將,成為一名最前線的勇士;不再是河床上不起眼任人踐踏、永不離地的五塊石子,我們即將成為勇士手中最致命的武器.蒙他的提拔與賞識,我們可以離地昇華,欣然上路.

「你來攻擊我,是靠著刀槍和銅戟;我來攻擊你是靠著萬軍之耶和華的名. 」
這時,我們是何等的激昂憤慨!是的!是的!耶和華的名我們是認識的,於是大夥大聲呼喊著:
耶和華的名,耶和華至聖的名!
石將軍,我們的老大,一石當箭,被大衛用力甩投出去,它順著意興遄發的力道,應著如虹的士氣,它飛昇離地,所有的空氣都屏息退讓,它騰躍,乘風,對準目標,咻咻然而去.
聽過嗎?山崩於一石之落,這號強悍的巨敵頓時轟然一聲,倒地! 於是非利士人倉皇逃跑. 於是以色列人乘勝追擊, 大勝
之前,我們不妄自菲薄;之後,也有自知之明,若不是出於那位創造主,如我這般者,那能親自參與這樣史無前例、後無發生的偉大戰役? !
我們飛揚得勝的人生,從此被記在聖經撒母耳記上17:49-50裏 .
五石在,機弦必在;機弦在,善於甩機石的大衛必在;大衛在,歌利亞必在;歌利亞在,五石必在.五石在, 神必在.
連耶穌也欣賞我們, 衪說:
若是他們閉口不說,這些石頭必要呼叫起來.

弟兄姐妹鑒於五石的激勵,雖沒經過專業的訓練,卻不甘平凡,嚮往超越,於是自己學習創作詩歌,組織樂團,興奮地成立了五石的職事.這些音樂有兩主軸:
1:讚美祂,就是投石篇-那是制敵得勝的先機.
詩篇149:6說: 「願他們口中稱讚神為高,手裏有兩刃的刀. 」
首先,<<稱謝耶和華>>、<<爭戰屬乎主>>、<<我要來讚美>>是為著弟兄姐妹生活中的大大小小戰役而寫而唱.
2: 敬拜衪, 就是問路篇-是尋找到神顯現同在的確切途徑.
惟願一生的宿求,常像書拉密女一樣說:
「我心所愛的阿,求你告訴我你在何處牧羊?」(雅歌1:7 ).
<<聖靈請來>> - 是「渴慕」之路.
<<主啊! 我愛你>>- 是「愛衪」之路.
<<降伏於你>> - 是「降服」之路.
<<清晨翅膀>> 是「宣教、靈修..」之路.
