Top 10 Reasons to Live in the Basement of a Dental Office

10: No alarm clock is needed: wake up from drilling noise over your head every morning
9: Free air freshener; your rooms smell like, err, dental office
8: Save energy in the summer: they really turn air condition up to cool down their patients
7: No more fear going to a dentist, you live underneath one anyway
6. Daily reminder on the consequences if you do not take care of your teeth
5. Answering the door to find patients who give you that terrified look (thinking you are their dentist)
4. Sing alone with beats of hammering and banging sound that you normally have no chance to hear
3. Hear conversations during surgery that, as a dentist's patient, you would never hear such as "oops"
2. Once I was lost going to the dentist, now I am "found": you can run but you can't hide
1. Wake up by warm greeting from a top-notch dentist every morning, "How are you doing today"!!
ps from Deng's family: We moved into this half-basement in 2008 and really love this place!! Our landlord is a great lady who is very nice to us. And yes, she is a top-notch dentist!!
