East Coast Prayer Meeting Dec

Posted on 10:09 PM by Kung-Li Deng

John 4:35
"Do you not say, 'There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest '? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest

A group of us got together today to share and pray on-line. We had a wonderful time of sharing on what is going on in our ministry and lives. At the same time, we spent time to listen and encourage each other over the Lord's word and promises.

A key word was shared among us today: Restoration. We felt that we are marching into a year of restoration of relationship, faith, ministry health, family and finance. It is a precursor of what will be the coming revival for harvest of souls!!

Also there is a recent movement to see God's kingdom to move beyond the 4 walls of church into market places . From the sharing of NJ church network on their Christmas event, we witness of what will be going in the coming revival: the resources will be found in the harvest field, as Jesus pointed out in Luke 10!!

Highlights:

- East Coast Revival: Continue praying for coming revival in the East Coast. There are several prophetic words given this year indicating that Asian and Asian descents will play a key role in the coming revival in the East Coast, specially in NJ state. And we pray that we and our next generation will stand in the gap and take our place in the name of the Lord boldly!!

- DA Church Network will have a special Christmas program in NJ on Dec 12 and in NYC on Dec 13. It turns out to be the Jewish New Year day on Dec 12. The cross-church team has been praying every morning at 6:00am for 12 consecutive weeks for this event. Harvest is going to come!! Tickets (1100 seats) are almost given out. Many request came from unbelievers. God also provides miraculously through the process in facility, team, finance and more. Please keep praying for schedule, performers, choir, team and their family for protection.

- Pastor and Co-worker Retreat: time flies and it is time to meet each other face to face!! Tentatively we are planning on March 10-12 (Wed-Fri). Details please see Pastor Fred Hsu's email

- Campus & Youth Ministries: though it may seem a hard group at sight, God does not want us to walk by sight but by faith and faith only. There are several praise reports: Chinese restaurant owner turned away from the idols and trusted his life to the Lord, young people started to say "no" to current "pop" culture such as "Twilight" and "New moon" movies to live a holy life for God.
