Proverbs 31 Man

10 Where are the men of faithful character? They are worth more than fine gold.

11 The heart of his wife respects and trust in him, he will not embarrass her.

12 He will do her good and not evil all the days of his life.

13 He seeks education, and learns different trades to be a wise provider as he

works well with his hands.

14 He is like a shipping barge; he gathers his goods from other countries.

15 He rises up early while it is still night, and prays for his children, and intercedes for his wife.

16 He invests in real estate, he harvests the lands that he has aquired with much produce.

17 He prays on the whole Armor of God that he may be strong in the Lord.

18 He discerns that his training is good, his sacrifices goes into the night.

19 He lays his hands to the saw, and hammers the nails into the wood.

20 He stretches his hands to the poor, and he meets the needs of the homeless.

21 He is not afraid of the winter, for his family is well clothed for the cold season.

22 He has made himself a covering of righteousness, his clothing is wisdom,

understanding, and the knowledge of God.

23 His wife is known in the city, when she travels among the leaders of the states.

24 He makes fine furniture, and sells it. He also delivers food to the hungry.

25 Strength and honor is his virtue, and he shall rejoice in times to come.

26 He opens his mouth with wisdom and prudence, and in his tongue is the grace of the fruit

of the spirit.

27 He secures his family and trains them in the ways of God, and he does not eat the

bread of idleness.

28 His children love and honor him, his wife also, he is a blessing. His wife praises him

everyday.

29 Many sons have done virtuously, but this kind of man exceeds them all.

30 Looks are deceitful, pride goes before a fall, but a man that fears the Lord, he shall be

praised and obtain the favor of God.

31 Give him the fruit of all his labor, and let his own works praise him all the days of

his life.
