Our Daily Bread

你吃飽了嗎?
你吃饱了吗?
(Ni-Chi-Bao-Le-Ma)
If you would like to learn a way of saying "hello" or "How are you". Here they are.
Direct translation to plain English is "Have you eat?"
This is how Chinese people greet each other. In fact, it is close to how the Bible describes how people greeted each other in Jesus' time: greet them and make sure you and your friends have ate, drank, and treated well before getting on our own business.

That is why Jesus asked his disciples not to greet anyone on their way to minister in Luke 10: this greeting might have taken up to 3 hours including sitting down to eat and drink together!!

"Have you eat?" can be also applied to our daily spiritual life.
Have you fed your inner man, spiritual man today?

I would like to introduce a new feature on the blog called " Read the Scripture in a Year"

As you can find on the screen shot above.
This side blog will provide a scripture on daily basis. If you follow it, it will go through the bible in a year.
Also, you can "listen" to the scripture on that day. In the morning, lunch hour break, at night.

Below, you will find a solitude picture that will show the natural God created.

I am inviting you to "eat" the daily break.

Have you eat today?
