Five Rock House for Nations!!

We had a blast on our first open house for this summer!!
It is such as blessing to have young folks from Gospel Fellowship to join us side-by-side this time: Pastor Margaret gave us her full blessings into this joint effort to outreach this generation of youth. May God richly bless her heart!!
It rained so heavily close to 7:00pm, it was literally pouring down, that I felt that it could have ruined this night: instead, it stopped and people started coming in. We ended up have a full house for an open night, more than 20 local HS kids staying and chatting with us!!
God is good: we ended up having groups from Steiner High (Hamilton), Princeton High, Princeton Day and West Windsor/Plainsboro High coming in for a full house Friday. Also friends from last summer also came back to check us out.

Also, we have a team decision to change the name to "Five Rock" with a subtitle "Open Mic Fridays"

It is a very dynamic situation every week. We can only roughly divide into these two sessions:
1. Open Mic Friday (First Half/Outreach)
We will work with local HS kids who have passion for music and are willing to play for one-night gig: inviting their friends. And yes, we will perform our "gig" as well with praise and worship. We are "in" the world but not "of" the world: we will accept their music before they can accept our message. That is simple: be relational before you can be missional.
2. House of Worship (Second Half/House of Worship)
We will gather all, kids who want to stay with us to a time of worship, simple message every week. Please pray that this place will be a house of worship where "sparrows find home and raise their young" Psalm 84:2-3
