Five Stone Logo & T-shirt design

Check out our new logo design and T-shirt!!
We will wear this (in white) to lead worship at Nyack in two weeks!!
The design of this symbol is based on the scriptures for
the garment of priest.
Psalms 133:2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments
Isaiah 61:3 to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, that he may be glorified.
1 Peter 2:5 You also, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ
As in Exodus 39, the bible talks about the garment of priest:
-Color:
verse 1. Moreover, from the blue and purple and scarlet material,they made finely woven garments for ministering in the holy place as well as the holy garments which were for Aaron, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
we use these three colors that were used in the garment of priest.
- Five Stone (Chinese)
1 Samuel 17:40 He took his staff in his hand, and chose for himself five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in the shepherd's bag which he had, even in his wallet. His sling was in his hand; and he drew near to the Philistine.
We use Chinese characters (five stone)
Five 五 ( "wu")
Stone 石 ("shi")We found later on in 1 Chronicles 20:8, there were four more giants from Philistines camp, as fearsome and larger-than-life as Goliath. They were all fell at the hand of David and his men. David has the faith to pick five stones from the brook, believing that he needs only five against all giants: one shot one kill.
And David trains his young people, who ended up battling against the four other giants. And they also are victorious.
- Reflection (mirror image) Design
Reflection from the water: As stones or rocks in the brook waiting for David to pick them up out of where they are, we wait upon the Lord for his time in the brook.
Mirror image: as we worship, we will reflect what is going on in the heavenly regime, bringing God's presence down to where we are.
- Rock (English)
Exodus 39
verse 8: Breastpiece.....
verse 10: They mounted four rows of precious gemstones on it.
With a design of a guitar (music) and English word, "Rock". English word, "Rock" is used here not for Rockn Roll but to recognize our foundation is in Jesus. He is the rock of our lives and the heart of every thing we do. Also as in the old testament garment of priest, this rock/stones are put on our garment to represent God's people in our hearts. We are all called to be living stones (1 Peter 2:5) , being into his House.
