We missed a Thanksgiving dinner at Bruce and Yih-Pai's lovely house last Friday. Zach was under the weather since Thursday night so we had to pull out almost at the last minute.


On Sunday, we got these three cards from Bruce: he hand-made for each of their invited guests a card to be placed at their seat around thanksgiving table. I could imagine a formal dinning with a wonderful spirit of Thanksgiving in the house!

We missed it!!
But we did not miss these three cards with bible verses picked by our lovely host couple. I read out loud on Sunday morning with a grateful heart.
"I will praise God's name in song and glorify Him in thanksgiving."

Suddenly I felt warm blessings beaming out from these cards in my hand. There cards are no longer for a missed thanksgiving dinner. They are the heart of the Thanksgiving dinner that will last long in our memory.
